Siew Ling Chow is a Toronto-based, freelance designer specializing in UX design, web design, and brand development. She began her career designing web-based applications for the financial industry and now works primarily with advertising agencies, marketing firms, and medium-sized businesses. With over 18 years of experience in the design industry, Siew Ling contributes to her clients’ success by combining her knowledge of design with a love for technology.
Siew Ling holds a Bachelor of Design degree from the Ontario College of Art & Design University and during her tenure, co-founded and led a university-wide team which tied for first place in the Urban Vision Design Competition. From 2007 – 2010, she served as the Director of Design and Technology for the Toronto chapter of North American Associations of Asian Professionals (NAAAP), and contributed to their success in winning Chapter of the Year for three consecutive years. Siew Ling has previously worked as an art director at a media company, co-owner of a design studio, and currently as a freelance designer since 2003.
With a background in the Toronto independent film scene, Siew Ling brings versatile story-telling skills and a technical focus to every project. She is a perceptive designer with an insatiable curiosity to discover how things work in order to develop the best, most effective solutions for her clients. When she’s not busy in the studio, you can find her indulging in a Netflix marathon with friends or trying out new, delicious recipes.
